Suhani Gifts Limited

Suhani is truly an inspiration for all teenage girls and their determined mums. She inherited her creative genes from her mum (& masi), and the business acumen from dad. This deadly combination kicked in as soon as she entered her teens in 2020.


It was the year of the deadly covid pandemic, her dad had lost his job so he was very anxious (just like the rest of the world) and Suhani was stuck at home all day with her annoying siblings. When she heard Lewisham hospital staff were facing shortages and desperately needed more face masks, she made over 200 masks at home and sent them to the hospital with a local nurse who lived in the neighbourhood.


Her craftsmanship and creativity didn't end there, she started designing personalised items for family members and friends, as gifts for occasions and festive celebrations. Suhani's drive, initiative & passion inspired her mom, Mona, to list the creations on her Etsy account. This mom and daughter duo worked so hard for a year just to build up their presence on Etsy and list a few items. By the end of 2020, dad had found another job and the world slowly started opening up again. Some normality was restored and Suhani successfully sold a few small items on Etsy.


At the turn of the year in early 2021, despite a few failed attempts earlier, the entrepreneurial duo decided they weren't going to let dad, Ravi, off the hook this time. He was dragged back into his home office to put his web designing and programming skills to good use. This is when Shopify came to his rescue, where he was quickly able to build a small online website for Mona & Suhani, without having to spend a fortune. The terrific trio then decided to register their business as a limited company and also further extend their product range.


And so Suhani Gifts Limited is born as a small family owned business venture, to please our creative & entrepreneurial teenage daughter who puts so much love & care in every gift item we create.

Shop Policies

Delivery

We use Royal Mail or other equivalent courier services to deliver all our orders.  
DISPATCH TIMESWe aim to dispatch all orders within 2-3 working days.  If your order is urgent please get in touch to discuss your requirements before placing an order.
DELIVERY COSTSFor all items sent via Royal Mail, we use 1st Class unless there is option of 2nd Class.
1st Class generally takes 1 - 2 working days 2nd Class generally takes 3 - 4 working days
For other courier services, we use either next day or 2 day UK delivery or the best options which are available.  
You have the option of Express Delivery and we will send the item via Next Day delivery.  This is at a Standard rate of £6.60

Returns & Exchanges

Refund & Exchange PolicyAs a valued customer we want you to be happy with what you have ordered. We have a 14 day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 
Please note that personalised products are not returnable unless damaged or faulty
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in its original packaging. 
Shipping costs are non-refundable and if you wish to return an item you will need to cover shipping costs.  We advised that proof of postage is obtained.
Damages and issuesPlease inspect your order upon receipt and contact us within 48 hours if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
If items have been damaged in transit, please advise the driver, sign for the delivery as damaged and send a photo before you have unpacked the item.
Exceptions / non-returnable itemsUnfortunately, we cannot accept returns on Personalised, Clearance, sale items or custom/bulk orders.
RefundsWe will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.
Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
Delivery Issues
Please ensure that you are available to accept delivery of the products at the stated address. We do not accept responsibility for items that are returned back to us due to failed delivery. In such situations, we will contact you to arrange additional payment for re-delivery, additional postage will apply.
For international deliveries, we will not be responsible for any additional taxes or custom costs on your ordered items.
