The tenth guru Guru Gobind Singh Ji, in 1699 introduced the kachera which has become a symbol of the Sikh brotherhood. Kachera are one of the five kakaars (5k’s) which is one of the symbols of Sikhism. Kachera are shorts usually made out of cotton. Wearing the kachera is part of the khalsa uniform so that baptised sikhs could be identified clearly. Both male and female sikhs wear the same type of kachera. Our Kachera's are made using the best cotton fabric and are all hand made. Available in standard and taksali.
