Red Wedding Kirpan – 3 feet This kirpan (sword) is perfect for a groom to carry on his wedding day. The kirpan is also a beautiful show piece. The sword itself is made from imitation gold and is covered with a red velvet mian (sheath) embossed also with imitation gold and has a very majestic imitation gold lion hilt (handle). It is approximately 3 feet (36”) in length, and very light weight so can be carried with ease for an occasion, such as a wedding day, for the duration of the required time. It is also available in blue and orange. In Sikh history, the Kirpan was one of the five K’s that in 1699, Guru Gobind Singh Ji requested his ‘Five Beloved Ones’ to carry as a weapon of defence. Therefore, to this day, the kirpan is carried by Sikhs. The decorative kirpan is also carried by people from other cultures, usually for special occasions. We have a wide range of Kirpans and Swords for all occassions
