Double cleanse
A technique that originated in Japan and Korea, involves using two different types of cleansers, one right after the other, the first an oil based cleanser then a water based cleanser.
An oil-based cleanser is designed to remove oil-based impurities, including makeup, sunscreen, sebum, and pollution.
By getting rid of this stuff first, the second water-based cleanser can really work its way into the skin, removing the likes of grime and sweat. Not only is a double cleanse meant to give a more thorough cleanse, but it can also revitalize dull skin and allow other skin care products to penetrate more effectively.
Using this method Watermelon Cleanse will help dissolve impurities, remove them, and keep the outer most barrier intact and functioning properly. Skin that can function properly will be bright, clear, and glowing from within.
There are no harsh chemicals involved, no oil stripping, and no antibacterial agents that further disrupt the delicate balance of the skin.
Our cleansing oil contains grapeseed and camellia seed oil blended with organic jojoba and organic rosehip oil packed with antioxidants to tone and tighten your skin whilst effectively lifting away makeup and impurities.
Star ingredients are green tea, pumpkin and watermelon seed oil to remove congestion, debris and makeup providing intense hydration. Naturally scented with pink grapefruit and sweet orange oil.

Watermelon Seed Oil-A powerhouse ingredient and a surefire way to super glowing skin, Watermelon seed oil will deeply penetrate the skin to remove impurities, dirt and dead skin without stripping the skin.
Pumpkin Seed Oil-contains vitamins C, E, and K, which soften the skin and boost collagen production to keep skin supple and smooth. It also contains vitamin A, which is an excellent treatment to brighten skin.
Camellia seed oil- Known as the Geisha's secret, rich in essential vitamins and high in oleic acid making it a great emollient and known for its anti-aging abilities.
Green tea extract-will gently melt away makeup with rich hydration, whilst increasing skin elasticity, shrink pores and leave skin squeaky clean and refreshed.
Use at night. Apply 2-3 drops of oil into the palm of your hand. Rub your hands together and then, while your face is still dry, gently massage the oil into your skin in a circular motion.
Massage for at least 2 minutes to really allow the oil to do its magic. Then wet your hands and keep massaging this will transform the oil into a milky substance. Now rinse the washcloth in hand hot water and wipe away all traces of cleanser using circular movements to stimulate the skin and lift away impurities.
Keeping your skin damp, now cleanse with your usual water-based cleanser.
- This cleansing method can stimulate an initial skin purge because of the exfoliation and stimulus of your skin.
- Keep in mind that it may take 2-3 weeks for your skin to fully adjust to this new method of cleansing, as your complexion may need some time to fully detoxify from any build-up that may be in your pores up until now.
Suitable for all skin types; however everyone's skin is different so we recommend a patch test first.
